Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is an undergraduate program focused on computer applications and software development. Core subjects include programming languages, database management, software engineering, and web development. Practical training includes hands-on coding experience and industry projects. Graduates pursue careers as Software Developers, Web Developers, or System Analysts in IT firms, banks, and government agencies. Further education options include Master's degrees or certifications for specialization and career advancement.

Vietnamese Upper Secondary School (High School) Graduation Diploma with a minimum GPA of 7.0/10.0 for Grade 12 (For other international qualifications please view entry requirements by country​

Academic pathway

You can gain entry to this program from UniSTART Academic program or the Foundation Studies program.

English requirements

Successfully complete RMIT Vietnam English Advanced, or complete one of the following English proficiency tests:

  • IELTS (Academic) 6.5 (no band below 6.0)
  • TOEFL iBT 79 (with minimum score of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing)
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) 58 (no communication band below 50)
  • C1 Advanced (formerly known as Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE)) or C2 Proficiency (formerly known as Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE)) 176 (no less than 169 in any component)
  • For other recognised English results, please view English equivalency requirements.

How to Apply

Application must be made on the prescribed form available in the prospectus only. The prospectus may be obtained from the Institute or person at the counter during office working hours. Complete application form should be submitted along with the following documents duty attested by a gazetted officer:-
1. 10th Mark sheet (3 Photocopies)
2. 12th Mark sheet (3 Photocopies)
3. 20 Passport size photographs
4. Aadhar card (3 Photocopies)
5. Character Certificate from last attended Institute / School
6. Resident Proof (domicile from state government)
7. Certified copy of SC/ST/BC Certificate from state government
8. Migration Certificate
9. Medical Certificate from a doctor with minimum qualification as M.B.B.S.
10. An affidavit to be submitted by student against ragging.
